1. Introduction

Venturi ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our aircraft maintenance and logbook application for iPad.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

Venturi is designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect, store, or have access to:

• Your aircraft information (tail numbers, make, model, etc.)
• Your flight logbook data (flights, routes, times, pilots)
• Your maintenance records (inspections, squawks, notes)
• Your personal information (name, email, phone number)
• Your location or GPS data
• Your device information
• Any analytics or usage data

3. How Your Data is Stored

All data you enter into Venturi is stored locally on your iPad using Apple's UserDefaults storage mechanism. This means:

• Your data never leaves your device
• We have no servers or databases that store your information
• Your data is backed up automatically through your iPad's standard backup process (iCloud or iTunes)
• Only you have access to your data

4. Third-Party Services

FAA Aircraft Registry: During the onboarding process, if you choose to look up your aircraft by tail number, Venturi makes a single request to the FAA Aircraft Registry API to retrieve public aircraft information. This is done directly from your device to the FAA's servers. We do not log, store, or track these requests.

No other third-party services are used in the app.

5. Data Exports

Venturi allows you to export your logbook data to CSV or PDF formats. These exports are:

• Created locally on your device
• Saved to your device's temporary storage
• Shared using iOS's standard sharing mechanisms (AirDrop, email, etc.)
• Not transmitted to our servers or any third parties

6. Children's Privacy

Venturi does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app is designed for aircraft owners and pilots, who are typically adults.

7. Security

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data depends on:

• Your device's passcode/Face ID/Touch ID protection
• Your iPad's encryption (enabled by default on iOS)
• Your backup security (iCloud or iTunes backups)

We recommend keeping your device locked and secured at all times.

8. Your Rights

Since we don't collect your data, you don't need to request access, deletion, or modification from us. You have complete control over your data at all times:

• Delete data by removing items in the app or deleting the app entirely
• Export data using the built-in export features
• Back up data through your iPad's standard backup process

9. Changes to This Policy

If we ever change how we handle data (for example, by adding cloud sync features), we will update this Privacy Policy and notify you within the app. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
