Please read these terms carefully before using Venturi

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Venturi ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Venturi is an aircraft maintenance tracking and flight logbook application for iPad. The App allows you to:

  • Track maintenance items, inspections, and squawks
  • Log flights and manage your digital logbook
  • View analytics and statistics about your flights
  • Export your data to CSV or PDF formats

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Venturi is a record-keeping tool only. It is not a substitute for proper aircraft maintenance, professional inspections, or compliance with FAA regulations. You are solely responsible for maintaining your aircraft in accordance with all applicable regulations and maintaining official records as required by law.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes related to aircraft management
  • Maintain accurate and complete records in the App
  • Verify all information displayed by the App
  • Comply with all FAA regulations and requirements for aircraft maintenance and recordkeeping
  • Maintain official paper or approved electronic logbooks as required by regulations
  • Not rely solely on the App for regulatory compliance

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information
  • That the App will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • That defects will be corrected

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VENTURI AVIATION AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any damages resulting from use or inability to use the App
  • Loss of data or corruption of data
  • Aircraft damage, personal injury, or death
  • Regulatory violations or non-compliance
  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

Your use of the App is at your own risk. You are responsible for maintaining your aircraft according to all applicable regulations.

6. FAA Compliance

Venturi is not an FAA-approved electronic logbook system. The App is designed to supplement, not replace, your official maintenance and flight logbooks. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining official logbooks as required by 14 CFR Part 91
  • Ensuring all maintenance is performed and documented according to FAA regulations
  • Verifying the accuracy of all information in the App
  • Complying with all recordkeeping requirements

7. Data Backup and Loss

While the App stores data locally on your device and includes it in your iPad backups, you are responsible for:

  • Maintaining regular backups of your device
  • Exporting important data periodically
  • Maintaining redundant records of critical information

We are not responsible for any data loss, corruption, or inability to recover data.

8. FAA Registry Lookup

The App uses the FAA Aircraft Registry for aircraft information lookup during onboarding. This information is provided by the FAA and we make no guarantees about its accuracy or completeness. You should verify all aircraft information independently.

9. Modifications to the App

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time
  • Update these Terms at any time
  • Change features or functionality

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

10. Intellectual Property

The App, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Venturi Aviation and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the App
  • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, for any reason, without notice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state where you reside, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Venturi Aviation regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
